Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what personal information Learn Motion processes, why we process it, where it may be handled, and the choices and rights available to you.

Updated August 26, 2026 Effective August 26, 2026

1. Data controller

Learn Motion is operated by Wuhan Daoyin Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), which is responsible for the personal-information processing described in this Policy. Our registered address is Building 8, SBI Entrepreneurship Street, Dongxin Road, East Lake High-tech Development Zone, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to [email protected].

2. Scope

This Policy applies to the Learn Motion mobile application, websites, and related services that link to it. Independently provided third-party products and services are governed by their own privacy rules. We are responsible only for personal information for which we determine the purposes and means of processing.

3. Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: identifiers, contact details, profile details, preferences, account status, verification information, and registration or sign-in records associated with your account.
  • Content: information and materials that you submit, upload, create, generate, or otherwise provide through the Service.
  • Learning and service activity: your interactions with the Service, progress, results, preferences, and related usage records.
  • Transaction information: purchase, subscription, transaction, entitlement, expiration, and refund information provided by you or the platform that processes a transaction, including Creem, Apple, or Google where applicable. We do not receive complete payment-card details from independent purchase platforms.
  • Device and technical information: device, operating-system, application, language, time-zone, network, request, log, crash, diagnostic, and security information.
  • Support and compliance information: communications, requests, reports, and information needed to provide support, verify identity, resolve disputes, protect the Service, or comply with law.

4. Device permissions

We access the following permissions only after you actively use the relevant feature and grant permission: the microphone records and recognizes voice input; the camera captures learning material for recognition; and the photo or media library lets you select images or files to upload. You can withdraw permissions in device settings, but the related feature will stop working. Refusing a non-essential permission will not prevent access to features that do not depend on it.

5. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal information to provide, personalize, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; manage accounts and transactions; fulfill your requests; preserve your settings and activity; provide support; diagnose problems; prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; comply with law; and resolve disputes. We may also use aggregated or anonymous information that cannot reasonably identify a person to understand and improve the Service. Depending on local law, our legal bases may include performing a contract with you, obtaining consent, complying with legal obligations, and pursuing legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service without overriding your fundamental rights. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

6. Automated processing

When you use features that rely on automated processing, the content and context necessary to complete your request may be transmitted to service providers that support those features. Depending on the feature and the configuration in use, these providers may include Alibaba Cloud services and DeepSeek for content generation, embeddings, image generation, moderation, speech recognition, or speech synthesis; Mistral AI for optical character recognition and document extraction; and Google Cloud for speech synthesis. We require service providers to protect personal information in accordance with applicable law and our agreements with them. We may use aggregated or anonymous information that cannot reasonably be linked to you to evaluate and improve quality, reliability, and safety. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for your use of the Service.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as necessary to service providers that support the Service. These providers may include Google and Apple for account sign-in; Resend for transactional email; Google Firebase for usage analytics; Alibaba Cloud for SMS verification, human-verification checks, cloud infrastructure, object storage, document processing, content safety, and AI features; DeepSeek for AI-assisted content processing; Mistral AI for optical character recognition and document extraction; Google Cloud for speech synthesis; and Creem, Apple, or Google for payment and subscription processing. Each provider receives only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant function and processes it under its own terms, privacy policy, and our applicable agreement with it.

We may also disclose information to authorities or other recipients entitled to receive it to protect users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Personal information may transfer with the business in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, but the recipient must continue to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

If you choose to share content through or from the Service, the content you select may become available to the intended recipients or through the selected third-party platform. We may process information necessary to provide and protect the sharing functionality. Third-party platforms process information under their own privacy policies.

8. Processing locations and international transfers

Our operating company is located in China. Personal information may be processed in China, the United States, the European Union, Japan, and other countries or regions where we or our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. Where required by applicable law, we take steps designed to protect international transfers, which may include contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards. Contact us to ask about safeguards relevant to your information.

9. Retention, account deletion, and data deletion

Account and service information is generally retained while your account exists and for as long as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content, we remove it from the online Service. You may request account deletion from the account settings in the App or through our Account & Data Deletion page. After you submit a request and complete any identity verification reasonably necessary to protect the account, we will delete your account and associated personal information, except for limited information that must or may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies will be removed through the ordinary backup-rotation cycle. Retained information will be deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention purpose ends. Information that has been anonymized so that a person cannot reasonably be reidentified may be retained.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. No internet, storage, or automated system is completely secure. If a security incident is likely to materially affect your rights, we will take appropriate action and provide notifications as required by applicable law.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, a copy of, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; delete an account; obtain a portable copy; receive information about automated processing and international transfers; and complain to a regulator. You can manage permissions and delete content through the App, request account deletion through in-app settings or our Account & Data Deletion page, and submit other requests to [email protected]. To protect the account, we may verify your identity. Where permitted by law, we may refuse a request that is manifestly unfounded, excessively repetitive, infringes another person’s rights, or prevents compliance with law, and we will explain the reason.

12. Local storage and notifications

We may use application local storage, cookies, or similar technologies where necessary to operate, secure, and remember preferences for the Service. Clearing application or browser data may remove locally stored settings. Some features may use device notifications when permitted, and you can manage notification permissions through your device settings.

13. Minors

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may not register for or use Learn Motion. A user who has not reached the age of legal majority where they live should have a parent or legal guardian review this Policy and the Terms of Service. If we learn that we mistakenly collected personal information from a child under 13, we will stop the related account and delete the information promptly. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information may contact us at the address in this Policy.

14. Supplemental regional rights

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, and complaint to a local supervisory authority under applicable law, and international transfers will use legally recognized safeguards. Residents of certain United States states may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable rights, and we currently do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Users in Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, and other regions retain non-waivable rights provided by local law. Mandatory local law controls if it conflicts with this Policy.

15. Policy changes

We may update this Policy when features, providers, data locations, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show its revision date. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notice, page announcement, email, or another reasonable method and obtain renewed consent where required.
